on Hormone Pellets
:

Hormone pellets have become more popular today. Successful hormone replacement therapy involves getting the perfect amount of dose correct to balance the many hormones in the body and doing so using the best delivery method.

Bio-identical hormone replacement (BHRT) can be prescribed in several forms that include capsules, creams, and pellets. BHRT can enhance energy levels along with improving bone, brain,  muscle and heart health. It can also improve focus memory, metabolism, depression, anxiety, and weight gain. We use only FDA approved licensed compounding pharmacies for our prescriptions*

Although all forms are effective, progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone hormone pellets have been proven to provide a more consistent delivery method. Patient experiences and clinical outcomes are also better. Pellets are great for patients that can’t tolerate oral hormone therapy or don’t respond to oral or topical hormone therapy.*

Hormone pellets that are inserted under the skin can deliver consistent, stable levels of hormones for up to 4 months. There are no fluctuations in hormone levels as commonly seen with oral and topical delivery methods. This lack of fluctuation explains why pellets are more effective in treating hormone associated conditions and symptoms.*

BHRT Hormone Pellets appear to work better for hormone-related conditions such as insomnia, mood and anxiety disorders, memory problems,  osteoporosis, fibrocystic disease, and many other hormone-related conditions. Bioidentical hormone pellets provide the most benefits in the treatment of hormone-related symptoms in men and women without the harmful side effects of synthetic hormones.*

Dosing Adjustment

Dosing is dependent upon your clinical symptoms and hormone test results. Saliva hormone testing is best since blood hormone levels may fluctuate. Initially, our doctor may supplement your pellet therapy until the right pellet dosage can be achieved. Each person’s metabolism is different which affects how long the pellet lasts. Pellets may initially need to be inserted more often than every four months until the right dosage is achieved.

Convenience

Unlike other hormone therapies that must be taken or applied once or twice a day, patients with BHRT hormone pellets don’t have to remember to take their medication so compliance isn’t an issue.
