involving the elderly:

- More than 60% of Americans die without a comprehensive estate plan (AARP study), a will or other important items. This sets off a chain of unfortunate events.
- We need to choose someone who can step in and help us as we become less able to make these important decisions.
- We want to make sure assets can be passed forward in the most tax friendly way as possible
- Probate court could take a big bite out of our estate. We need to seek out an Elder law attorney and estate planning attorney to guide us through the intricacies of the law.
- You need a Trust. It’s like a bucket. You need to put your stuff in a bucket. Seniors, unfortunately put it on a shelf.
