Talking Points that Dr. Taylor Can Expand On in an Interview
On the Myths and Misconceptions Surrounding Women’s Libido:

Last year the FDA approved Vyleesi, (news story) which many are calling the female Viagra. Can this help women finally?  Share this story along with the truths and myths about the female libido.

Myth: Many women feel there is no real treatment and there’s nothing they can do.

This is a misconception. People are always saying there is no female Viagra but the truth is—there is!  (It’s a new peptide that was just approved by the FDA.)

Myth: Testosterone is as important to female libido as it is to male libido.

The reason why this new drug/peptide works is that it affects the brain. (For women, sex is more of a mental function than a physical function.)

Myth: It is natural for women’s libido to decrease as they age. Not true!

The reality: Men have sex in order to relax.  Women have to be relaxed in order to have sex.
