Certain sectors in the financial services industry are booming, specifically the fixed index annuity space. The main reason is people can safe harbor their money, guarantee their principle, and ride the markets up—without ever losing money to market risk ever again.

The obvious stock is Amazon. COVID-19 is allowing us to take full advantage of Amazon’s online distribution footprint. For the short-term investor, Amazon is near or selling at an all-time high, so people may want to use the old adage of “buy low and sell high” approach. For the long-term Amazon fits that bill, and looks like it will take a long time before a suitable competitor comes along to give them a run for Bezos’s money. 

Other stocks to watch are Zoom and Uber. Zoom has a fun product and has gained market share. Uber is down now, but is an integral part of our society today.
