- We are lucky to live in a time where many people can live the “laptop lifestyle.” You can run your business anywhere.
- We are a few steps past the idea of telecommuting. We are now at TeleCommuting 2.0. Now businesses expect that great talent can be located anywhere in the country and anywhere in the world. I personally have staff in multiple countries. We talk on Skype or Zoom. Same with speaking to clients.
- There are some obvious exceptions. If you are a doctor or a lawyer, you need to have a professional office—especially if you are providing procedures on people.
- This is where everything is going. The gig economy is growing. We are going to see more of this and having a dog bark in the background or a baby cry will just be another part of a normal work day.
