on COVID Long-Haulers
:

One of the many things we have come to learn about COVID, is that some people who have overcome the virus, still experience symptoms of the illness weeks and even months after having it—referred to as long-haulers. Here are just a few tips that can help alleviate some of the negative effects:

    1. Eat clean, whole foods diet: reducing processed foods improves many functions for both our body and mind. Also improves energy, digestion,  and immune function.
    2. Practice mindfulness: supports a healthy immune response, decreases depression and anxiety, increases optimism, and builds mental resilience.
    3. Use supplements: Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin D all support a healthy immune response.

If these aren’t sufficient, see a licensed naturopathic doctor for a holistic natural approach to health. The naturopathic approach is a proactive one focused on prevention and optimization of the body and mind. Working with a naturopathic doctor (ND) can help you dial in on what is going on with a person’s biochemistry and physiology to understand what path would be best to support that individual in their health.
