What Raphael Velazquez can say in an interview on
Attaining Your Fitness Resolutions:

Commandment #1: You shall set goals | It is important to set goals on your fitness journey. Being precise on what it is you’re looking to achieve (and when) allows you to have clarity on whether you achieved your goal or did not.

Commandment #2: You shall dream big and step small | When goal setting, dream big, plan for the long term (to create habits), and take small steps to help you get closer to your goal.

Commandment #3: You shall be realistic | Being realistic with your goals, more specifically when you will achieve your goals is important to mitigate risks and to make sure you are not putting unnecessary pressure on yourself. Times are hard as is.

Commandment #5: You shall abide by the 365% rule | Improve at least 1% a day, at the end of the year, you’ve accumulated 365%. This goes for life and all of the aspects that come with it. Take a holistic approach to your health by understanding the importance of working out, eating right, and socializing with family & friends. Filling up these different “cups” will elevate who you are after a year.

Commandment #7: You shall move daily| Exercise. Go for a walk, lift weights, go biking. Make sure to move and find ways to stay engaged by setting goals, dreaming big, and living your best life. We are here only once and it’s important to feel great!
